Production Processes
Each NSR slot car is born from a highly specialized production process that combines Italian craftsmanship with advanced technologies to ensure performance, precision and quality. From the initial design to final quality control, every stage is taken care of down to the smallest detail to ensure that each model represents the excellence that sets us apart. Discover the path each of our slot cars follows to transform into a unique and competitive product, ready to compete and offer the ultimate in performance.
Design
The design process begins with choosing the category of slot car we wish to replicate. At this stage, we carefully evaluate the car model to be replicated, analyzing its technical and stylistic characteristics. Once the model is selected, we make sure that we obtain all necessary licenses from the car manufacturer, ensuring that manufacturing rights are respected and the final result is as accurate as possible.
Next, our experts create an advanced 3D model based on the original drawings provided by the manufacturer. This process allows us to develop an extremely detailed replica that respects the exact proportions and design complexity of the original car. The result is a slot car of the highest quality, true to the aesthetics of the original and designed for excellent mechanical performance, in line with our standards.

Molding and Production
NSR uses sophisticated CAD/CAM files to develop production molds with an extremely high level of precision using state-of-the-art CNC machines.
Each component of each mold is carefully made, assembled and meticulously tested to ensure that it meets the highest quality standards.
Before starting full production, each mold is checked, assembled and tested in a pre-production stage.
This process allows us to ensure an end result that not only meets the technical specifications, but is also capable of sustaining exceptional and lasting performance on the track.
Painting
To ensure a flawless and durable finish, each component undergoes an advanced painting process.
After being thoroughly painted, the parts are transferred to a sealed environment designed to prevent any dust contamination.
This strict control of environmental conditions allows the painted surfaces to dry perfectly, maintaining the appearance and aesthetic quality of our slot cars, ready to excel in both performance and style.
Tampography
After drying, the bodies and parts are transferred to the pad printing room, where one of the most detailed and complex stages of the production process begins.
Here, using high-precision pad printing machines, we apply the liveries and decorations. The complexity of the final graphics determines the use of machines with one, two, or up to five colors; for the most advanced decorations, we use a fully automated machine, capable of ensuring uniform results of the highest quality.
Once the pad printing phase is over, the bodies return to the paint room for a final layer of clear coating. This final step protects the decorations and gives the model a glossy, professional appearance, keeping the colors and quality intact over time
ASSEMBLY
The assembly phase of each NSR slot car is divided into two separate work areas to ensure attention is paid to each individual part: one dedicated to mechanical assembly and the other to the completed chassis. This approach allows us to maintain the highest level of quality and precision at every stage.
In the mechanical department, the chassis takes shape starting with the bare structure, to which all the necessary components are progressively added. Each part is assembled with extreme care to ensure that the car is ready to deliver excellent performance. As a final step, the motor cables are inserted into the rail, thus completing the drive system.
When the chassis is perfectly assembled and tested, it is finally "married" to the body, resulting in the final product. This step marks the culmination of the entire assembly process, combining mechanical precision with the finished aesthetics of the body, for a result that reflects NSR's signature quality and excellence. Each model is now ready to compete at the highest level, representing the best of our craftsmanship and technical expertise.
Quality Control
The quality control process is one of the most important steps in ensuring the excellence of NSR slot cars. Each body, coming from the lacquer stage, is carefully examined to ensure that it is perfect in every respect. If paint or pad-printing defects are found, the body is discarded, ensuring that only flawless components advance to the next steps.
The completed model is then subjected to a thorough final inspection. During this stage, we carefully examine every detail to ensure that nothing was missed in the previous steps. Moving parts are lubricated to ensure smoothness and optimum performance, and the model is track tested to confirm quality and performance.
Once all checks have been passed, the finished model is placed in its display box, ready to be sent to distributors around the world. This rigorous inspection process ensures that each NSR slot car represents the ultimate in precision, quality and craftsmanship.
